SpectrumPoint - Neurodivergent Profiling Platform
Project Overview
SpectrumPoint is a full stack web application currently in development that reimagines how neurodivergent traits are explored and visualized.
Instead of using binary diagnostic categories, the platform applies a dimensional scoring model across three behavioural axes inspired by Autism spectrum disorder, Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, and Obsessive-compulsive disorder.
Users complete a weighted behavioural assessment built on a 0-4 Likert scale. Each response contributes to axis scores which are normalized and plotted inside an equilateral triangle using barycentric coordinate conversion. The result is a visual neuro profile that highlights overlapping trait patterns rather than forcing categorical labels.
Key Features in Development:
- Multi step assessment engine with weighted scoring logic
- Normalized axis scoring (0-100 scale)
- Real time triangular visualization using SVG rendering
- User authentication and saved assessment history
- Pattern based trait summaries instead of diagnostic claims
- Ethical disclaimer system to prevent misuse as medical diagnosis
- Tech Stack:
- Next.js (App Router)
- TypeScript
- Tailwind CSS
- Node.js backend
- PostgreSQL
- Prisma ORM
SpectrumPoint is designed as both a portfolio demonstration of full stack engineering and a conceptual exploration of dimensional mental health modeling. The project emphasizes accessibility, ethical design, and data visualization clarity.
